Situated above the Waitemata Harbour in the lush grounds of Auckland Domain, Auckland Museum provides a spectacular venue for events. With its striking neo-classical architecture and majestic columns, the Museum is one of Auckland 's premier event locations.

From the grandeur of the Museum's marble foyer to the more intimate and themed spaces of individual galleries, the Museum offers a unique event experience.  As a busy year round Auckland attraction, events can currently only occur at the Museum in the evenings.

The newly opened Lion Foundation Events Centre situated on the roof of the museum, affords panoramic views of Auckland from beneath a stunning architectural copper dome. Seating 400 banquet style or accommodating 700 for cocktails, this dedicated function events facility offers both day and evening hospitality opportunities.
